I wish all of you could see the spirit and energy in Chennai. Did you know that Chennai is the only place that has been able to hold a fast for three consecutive days in the entire country!
Our indefinite fasters are on their 3rd day. The youngest is a 18 year-old college topper who updates facebook pages to inspire others to support his demand for Jan Lokpal.
Right now, a elderly Jain lady came and gave advice on how to sustain fast and how to recover from a fast in a gradual way. The fasters are loving her sweet and kind advice. There is a smile on their faces.
The working volunteers are working very hard, most work non-stop with little breaks for rest. Many have lost their voice after speaking and managing the huge crowds that have been surging into our fasting venue in Adayar.
