hi all

The nation woke up with great news of the hanging of Terrorist Afzal Guru.  In the  December 2012 issue of ezine, (relevant portion attached)  we wrote in detail about the attack on Indian Parliament in Dec 2011 by a group of Pak supported terrorists group.  In the gun battle against the terrorists, 9 Indian security staff were killed by the terrorists.  22 security personnel were injured.   In the battle, all the five terrorists were killed.

Afzal Guru was one of the master minds of this attack and he was sentenced to death in 2002 by trial court.  It was confirmed by a bench of High Court and then Supreme Court in 2005.  Since his mercy petition was pending with President of India, he could not be hanged.

Now the President of India rejected his mercy petition and the Government hanged him today morning at 8 am, without any prior announcement.  Media was informed only after the hanging.

The so called human rights activists have been objecting to the hanging of  terrorists.  These human rights activists do not deliberately understand the difference between a terrorist group and a man committing murder on emotions.    These human rights activists never make any statement, when the innocent people  are attacked by these terrorists.

Because the media has been projecting their pro-terrorist views hitherto, these human rights activists  were making huge noise.  Fortunately today morning, many of the channels, including Times Now, have chosen not to telecast the views of such pro-terrorist views. I personally congratulate such channels for their stand.

As we wrote in Jan 2013 issue of ezine, the terrorists do not belong to any religion, caste or creed.  Any support to them in the name of religion or caste can be considered as an anti national activity.  These pro-terrorists lobby in the guise of human rights organisations forget about the loss of innocent lives.  The Government also should probe the source of funds relating to these Human Rights organisations, supporting the terrorists.

When Rajiv Gandhi was killed in Tamilnadu, around 20 police officials also died in the blast.  Nobody talks or remembers about these 20 lives and their family members.  None of the Human Rights organisations paid  sympathy with these men who sacrificed their lives in the official duty. Again because of the hype created in the media, these pro-terrorists lobbies get advantage.  Even the Government is pressurised to be soft with these terrorists.

Terrorism is a great threat to the nation.  It has to be dealt with iron hand.  There should not be any mercy in the name of human rights.  Even the major opposition parties have supported the Government today.

With the hanging of Afzal Guru, the souls of 9 brave soldiers of India who died in the battle with the terrorists will rest in peace.   This is the great homage we pay to these brave men.

Common citizen of India expects that there should not be any compromise on terrorism on the basis of religion, caste and creed.

Please read our write up (attached) on the Parliament attack published in Dec 2012 issue.
