Dear India Vision 2020 group Members!
I want to introduce myself. I'm Vasanth. I have been a silent group member so far. Now I would like to share with you something, which I feel very important for the development of the nation. Here, I'm talking about the Vipassana Meditation. The Vipassana Meditation technique is for the purification of the deepest mind. So with the help of the vipassana, one can get rid of all the negativities like the anger, hatred, ill-will, animosity, jealousy, passion, greed etc. This I feel is very important for all the people. When the minds of the people become pure, they are filled with the Love, Compassion, Goodwill, Sympathetic Joy, Selfless service, Balance of mind etc., in the place of the above mentioned impurities.
This meditation has been used for the changing of the hearts of the prisoners in many of our jails. Ms. Kiran Bedi was the first person in introducing the meditation technique in the Tihar Jail. So the inmates are equipped to deal with their stressful lives in a more balanced and positive way. There have been many reports on the positive change with regard to the serious physical and the mental ailments. There have been many reports on the positive change with regard to the serious physical and the mental ailments. After all, more than 80% of the physical ailments are nothing but the psycho-somatic diseases. Above all there is no commercial aspect involved in imparting the technique to the people. The courses are offered free of cost. There are many centres offering the courses in India and in various countries across the globe. All these courses are happening with good mental volition and run solely by the Dhana (Donations) given by the old students.
For more informations about the courses, I request the group members to visit the website
www.vri.dhamma.org. From the website you can get all the details. Then I would like all the members to find time for attending the course in near future. I feel that by providing the information about the meditation course, I'm contributing positively in a small way.
With warm regards
Vasanth
