[India_Vision_2020] Education Loan Task Force (ELTF) discusses Education Loan issues with Minister and other officials at North Block [1 Attachment]

[Attachment(s) from Prime Point Srinivasan included below]

hi

Education Loan Task Force (ELTF) is one of the social initiatives of eMagazine PreSense.  It is a voluntary initiative since 2010 creating awareness about education loan and also taking up issues in Parliament through supporting MPs.  On 17th February 2017, PreSense and ELTF organised an interactive session at Chennai with Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon'ble Union Minister of State (Finance & Corporate Affairs) to discuss the education loan issues.  Senior bankers from 40 banks and various social workers participated and interacted on the various issues.  During that time, Hon'ble Minister announced that he would arrange a meeting of Senior officials of Finance Ministry  at Delhi so that ELTf can directly present the issues to find out the solutions.

Accordingly,  Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal organised a meeting at North Block on 16th March 2017.  Shri R N Dubey, (Economic Advisor to Department of Financial Services) and two other senior officials were present.  Shri Gautham represented Indian Banks Association (IBA).  Shri Meghwal presided over the meeting.  On behalf of ELTF, I made a presentation to the Minister and other Senior officials on the various problems faced by students.
Hon'ble Minister and other officials listened patiently.  Minister also advised the officials to examine all the points and to submit a feedback to him.  While concluding the meeting, Hon'ble Minister siad, "You will find some changes shortly".

ELTF thanks Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal for the keen  initiative taken by him to understand the problems and to find solutions.

A brief report on the proceedings is attached.  Kindly go through the report.   You may kindly send feedback to me.

Re: [India_Vision_2020] Performance of Lok Sabha Members till the end of first Part of Budget Session 2017 - Partywise, genderwise, statewise, age group wise analysis

HI All,

Good day.

I would like to share my experience of getting education loan just 5 years back.

we have just the documents of Srinivasan sir and gone through various documents and blogs related to education loan.

Below Points are really work to get education Loan.

1.Directly approach branch Manager with all supporting documents( everything should be in writing) as per their website advice- I mean we must read the process of every bank on their website.
2. Only request the branch Manager 3 times for status of loan approval or reject whatever.
3. go to next level of Bank- I mean pl understand the Bank's escalation matrix. Branch- District level and Head office- This is for IOB.
4. I am sure District Level officer will help 100% if all the documents are perfect. I had on this level for my Naphew- ^.75 Lacs Marine eng Loan.
5. If its not happening from bank. pl ahead with RBI officers too.

Please follow the process documents available in Vision 2020 group blog.

I must thanks Srinivasan Sir on our entire life since we don;t have any support except the process document, confidence and my courage.

I never entertained Bribe as well. we should not do Bribe because we are requesting for genuine  and we will repay without any hesitation responsively.

Now My nephew has completed the course and training. we have paid last year interest as well.

May be useful for some one. if any questions please send email. I am happy to help.

Thanks,
Maharajan S

Hi

I attach herewith an analysis of the performance of our Lok Sabha Members upto the end of Part I one of Budget Session 2017.  The data relates to the period from 1st June 2014 to 9th February 2017.   The second part of Budget Session starts on 9th March 2017.  Hence, we are releasing this analysis now so that the Members may improve their performance further.

Sansad Ratna Team has analysed the performance state-wise, party-wise, gender-wise and agegroup-wise. Please go through the interesting facts.

Shiv Sena and NCP have done extremely well in the Lok Sabha, though they have small numbers of MPs. Trinamool Congress has shown poor performance.  Among the big states, Maharashtra and Kerala are doing well, while West Bengal is performing badly.

Right from the beginning,  Maharashtra has been showing consistent performance in the House.   During Sansad Ratna Awards, every year, Maharashtra contingent used to be large, like Chinese bagging Olympic medals.

In the gender-wise analysis, women are competing very well with their male colleagues, though they have only 61 Members.

In the age group analysis, the members in the age group of 45 to 64 are doing well, closely followed by youngsters. This age group is well experienced and quite competent in the Parliamentary affairs.

Please go through the attached analysis and share with others.

This  analysis is based on the data provided by PRS India.

This analysis is based on the three performance parameters (1) Original initiated debates (2) Introduction of Private Members Bills and (3) Raising Questions.

As already announced, Sansad Ratna Awards 2017 is scheduled on 27th May 2017 at IIT Madras.  Awardees will be selected by a Committee of Jury, based on the performance till the end of Budget Session 2017.
