[India_Vision_2020] Ezine PR-e-Sense honours Mr Hansraj, top performing Lok Sabha MP

dear friends

While media is talking about the murky deals of some of the MPs and Ministers, we tend to  ignore many members who contribute to the debates of the Parliament.  Members may recall, that last year also, we featured some of the top performing MPs of 14th Lok Sbha.   From then on, we deicded to feature the top performing MPs as at every 31st March of every year.

Accordingly, we have chosen Mr Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Member of Lok Sabha from Maharashtra to  honour him in the Golden Jubilee Edition of Ezine.  As already announced, PReSense is organising a simple function at Chennai to release the 50th Edition of ezine and a CD containing all the past issues in the presence of eminent people.

Mr Hansraj Ahir has kindly consented to participate in the function.  On behalf of our groups, we congratulate him and wish him to maintain the top position in future too.  Please read a brief note about him, which will be part of our ezine April issue.

Note about Mr Hansraj Ahir

Mr Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, a BJP Member of Parliament has topped in the 15th Lok Sabha for raising questions and in participation of debates, etc.  (up to 31st March 2010). He has raised 255 Questions; introduced 26 private member bills; and participated 31 times in the debates.  He has also made 3 special mentions.

He has been elected from Chandrapur (Maharashtra) constituency and he has served 11th and 14th Lok Sabha earlier.

He participated in the 14th Lok Sabha also significantly by raising 927 questions. Further he has participated 137 times in debates; made 54 special mentions and introduced 21 private bills.   Mr Somanath Chatterjee, then Speaker of Lok Sabha praised him several times for his exemplary behaviour and participation in the proceedings.  He has even mentioned him as his 'favourite MP' in the House.

Earlier, he has served Maharashtra Assembly as a Member.  PR-e-Sense congratulates him for his effective participation and wishes him to maintain the lead position.

[India_Vision_2020] Our cartoon character PRince is now in Wall Street Journal

dear friends

Our members may recall that Jan 2010 issue of our ezine PReSense was devoted to Education Loan Schemes and we carried useful articles and cartoons in that ezine.  .  After publication of ezine, we also formed Education Loan Task Force (ELTF) to help the deserving students.

Wall Street Journal was doing a story on Education Loan.  They came across our ezine and the ELTF site www.eltf.co.cc.  They were attracted by the nice PRince cartoon published in the ezine.  They called up Triambak Sharma and requested him to send the cartoon.

WSJ has published the article and the cartoon in the following link:

Congrats to Triambak and his PRince for attracting the attention of International media too.

The young members of RR India visit the  patient every week and give them some financial support too.

Now it is said,  there is a ray of hope, if she is admitted at AIMS.  If any of our members, who have contact with AIMS, Delhi may kindly write to me or contact N.Rajkumar  9500112911 or T.RajaRajeshwari    9500112909.

Please do not respond to the group.  Respond only to me or to them directly.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Through this mail I would like to bring to your notice about a victim of a wrong operation done by incompetent medical workers. The picture that you see is a victim, Miss.Niveditha Kumari (19Yrs old). She is a child prodigy. In2008 she despaired to do her MBBS in RUSSIA, there she underwent a wrong diagnosis and operation for Appendicitis. Due to the carelessness of the doctors she was given over dosage of Anesthesia which eventually blocked the oxygen supply to the brain. Later she was brought to Chennai and admitted in the Government Hospital (GH) with much trouble. Till then we have spent in lakhs, but we feel very happy that it has not gone in vain as we and doctors could see her recovery. Currently she is been treated by Dr. J.S.RajKumar (Chairman Lifeline group of Hospitals) and Dr.Lakshmi Narasiman (Neurologists KMC).

For Further Treatment she is recommended to undergo Deep Brain Stimulation Therapy, in AIMS Delhi. we would like to know if any of our members are associated with AIMS Delhi so that it will be of great help to her and family

Together we can bring back Niveditha the life, she has dreamt. For the authenticity of the case, we hereby attach the photos of Niveditha.

In yet another tragedy, on 6th April, 2010 as many as 75 CRPF personnel martyred their precious lives while on their duty, ambushed by an army of over 1,000 Maoists in the forests of Dantewada, Chahattissgarh. This is one of the ghastliest incidents having the potential of threatening the very existence of our democracy and the stability of our society.

The need of the hour is – all the right-thinking people should come out, speak out and act against such anarchical designs. Let us rise as one man and stand by our security & police personnel.
