[India_Vision_2020] Ayodhya verdict - An analysis - Podcast interview

hi all

Nation has received the verdict with high sense of maturity.  the responsibility shown by our media, political and religious leaders requires lot of appreciation.  When the verdict was delivered, the citizens of India were calm.  Not even a single incident of violence was reported from any part of this country.  We should also appreciate the efforts taken by the Government and appeal made by our religious leaders.  This gives us a hope that India can face any challenges in future.  The verdict provides a win-win situation to both the groups.  None of them are the losers.  It is more the best possible 'solution' than 'judgement'.

Now some of the intellectual legal experts say that this verdict is a flawed one and it looks more like a 'Panchayat judgement'.  Now a Pakistan minister has criticised this judgement and is provoking Indian Muslims. Pakistan has no business to interfere in Indian issue.   Fortunately, Hindu and Muslim  religious leaders maintain highest dignity keeping the national interest in mind. Both Hindus and Muslims want only peace and want to live together in India like brothers.

With this background, on behalf of PodUniversal, I interviewed Mr S Sethuraman, one of the leading civil lawyers in Chennai High Court and Supreme Court of India.  In his interview, he has explained the background and also analysed the judgement. (14 minutes)

He says that a flawed judgement is better, if it is in the interest of the nation, than a legally correct judgement, which cannot provide a solution to the problem.  Please listen to his interesting and logical  podcast interview (14 minutes).
