The portal will be open till 25th August 2015. Bank Branches have to submit the claim to Canara Bank claiming 100% interest subsidy charged by them during 2014-15. Due to lethargy / lack of knowledge of many bank managers, many students have been deprived of the eligible interest subsidy. All eligible students who have availed education loan under IBA Scheme from the Banks may immediately contact the branch manager and give a letter to them in writing requesting them to submit the claim to Canara Bank. Though it is the duty of the Bank Manager, to avoid any confusion, I am suggesting the student borrowers or parents to submit a letter. Please also send a copy of the letter to the Regional Manager concerned and to their Head Office.
