Dear Mr Srinivasan,
It is absolutely true that private sector utilities & service providers are not dependable during any crisis.. They simply vanish from the scene. What is their CSR during a crisis. I am of the view that their CSR, if any, is tied to mere publicity. Their hallowness is exposed not only now, but also in every calamity across the country.
Govt and PSUs are discourteous because of the employees and their people-unfriendly attitude. If oriented to be empathetic, during peace time, they are second to none.
