[India_Vision_2020] 26th November : Constitution Day + Remembering National Heroes

hi all

26th November is an important day to be remembered.

Our Indian Constitution was passed by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949.  The Constitution came into force with effect from 26th January 1950.  On 25th November 1949, Babasaheb Dr Ambedkar made an inspiring speech in the Constituent Assembly.  In this historic speech,  Dr Ambedkar emphasized three important concerns to sustain the democracy a successful one:

1. Abandon unconstitutional methods such as Satyagraha, Civil Disobedience, etc and follow constitutional methods;
 2. Never lay on the feet of any great man (esp. in India ) – Hero worship to be avoided;
 3. Not to be content with mere Political Democracy. i.e, Equality, Liberty and Fraternity should be seen altogether.

Please read the full text of his inspiring speech in our Digital PreSense site:

Dr B R Ambedkar is one of the forgotten legendary Hero.  But for him India could not have developed a wonderful Constitution.  Unfortunately, he was defeated in the first General Elections and he cold not sit in the Lok Sabha.  Please read a brief note on his life.

On this day in 2008, terrorists attacked Mumbai.  Our brave Indian soldiers and Mumbai Police managed the situation.  Please read a brief account on Mumbai attack.

On this day, let us remember our great martyrs in freedom struggle and in Mumbai attack.

[India_Vision_2020] PreSense = PreSense (ezine) + Digital PreSense (website portal) www.digitalpresense.com - New initiative for positive journalism

hi

As you are all aware, our digital only publication ezine PreSense, started in March 2006 inspired by Dr Abdul Kalam has now crossed 116 monthly editions focussing only on positive journalism.  In 2015, a Digest with select articles upto 100 editions titled 'PreSense100' was released in the print format.   Again in June 2016, the second print edition titled 'PreSense100+' with articles covering upto 110 editions was released.  We had the great honour of getting the Foreword from Dr Abdul Kalam ji.

This ezine PreSense is released in pdf format on the first day of every month for the past 10 years.  We have a dedicated and committed editorial team.  Every article is researched and then published.  We want to continue to  maintain this ezine as a model for positive journalism with high quality.  We have high quality readers across the globe.

In the ezine, we publish articles written by our editorial team members only.  In rare cases, we invite eminent persons to write articles.  In order to take this ezine to the next level, we have created a new portal www.digitalpresense.com.  This portal will have very useful articles and materials for the benefit of youth and other professionals.  Besides the articles published in our monthly ezine PreSense, we will also allow select Guest writers in English, Hindi and Tamil on various topics.  Depending on the need we may include few more languages later.

As announced earlier, we will also publish ebooklet through this portal.  Depending upon the audience requirement, we will add more sections in future.

We request you to kindly visit www.digitalpresense.com and bookmark this site.   Shortly, we will also launch mobile apps for this site.

Interested persons who want to  contribute for ebooklet, articles in English, Hindi and Tamil may kindly write to us at editor@corpezine.com.  We will get in touch with you.

Hocalwire, Delhi based Digital solution provider started by IIT Alumnus Vinoth, with expertise in managing News Media Portals will be supporting our new initiative with latest technology.

We request you to kindly visit this new portal www.digitalpresense.com and give us your feedback.
