Th eMagazine PreSense is proud to honour two 'UnSung Heroes' during the 8th edition of Sansad Ratna Awards 2017.
UnSung Hero 1
Every year since 2009, the eMagazine PreSense has been honouring the MPs based on their performance parameters provided by PRS Legislative Research, Delhi. This year, we have invited Shri M R Madhavan, President of PRS Legislative Research from Delhi. PRS is doing an excellent service by providing performance data of all Parliamentarians to the civil society and media at the end of every session. This has enabled the people to judge the performance of al MPs. They are also helping all the Parliamentarians through seminars to acquire the expert knowledge on the various bills that are being discussed in the Parliament. This year, we will be honouring Shri M R Madhavan during the Sansad Ratna Award function.
UnSung Hero 2
We will also be honouring Shri Natarajan Raman of Dream India for his sustained service to the underprivileged children since 2004 without publicity through educational scholarships, weekly classes, career guidance sessions, educational festivals at rural and government schools, computer labs and by deployment of teachers for rural kids. Around 50,000 children have been benefited out of his service in these years. His social apps have also benefited around 2.50 lakhs common people. The app created by Natarajan for special kids has been recognized by Google as one of the top five ideas from India. Natarajan is a great follower of Dr Abdul Kalam.
