[India_Vision_2020] Platinum Jubilee (75th) edition of ezine PreSense launched by youngsters

Yesterday (Sunday the 23rd June 2013) evening, the Platinum Jubilee edition (75th) edition of our ezine PreSense was launched by the youth leaders of YouThink, a group of youngsters involved in various social activities at Chennai.  Besides the ezine, the ebook containing PRince cartoons and the dropbox link containing all the past 75 editions have also been launched by the youngsters.  Many seniors and VIPs were present during the launch greeting the youngsters.

Simultaneously, the launch of 75th edition of ezine, PRince cartoons and the link for all the past editions was held at Coimbatore and Motihari (Bihar) by youngsters and students.

Our cartoon editor Triambak Sharma will handover the CD containing the PRince cartoons and the 75th edition  to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Chattisgarh in the cartoon festival on 29th June 2013.

We will formally release the June edition, after incorporating all the photos and the reports.

[India_Vision_2020] Platinum Jubilee edition (75th) of ezine PreSense to be launched on 23rd June 2013

 

hi all

We are happy to announce that the Platinum Jubilee edition (75th) edition of our ezine PreSense will be launched at 3 centres (Chennai, Coimbatore, Motihari -Bihar) by youngsters and students.  

When all the earlier milestone editions like Silver jubilee, Golden jubilee, and Special edition on Indian Parliament were released by VVIPs, this time, we have consciously chose to get the prestigious 75th edition released through youngsters and students at different places.  

This is to symbolically convey a message that a time has come that senior generation has to gracefully give way to the next generation in every field, including politics and professional bodies, to avoid getting isolated.  

This edition is  dedicated to 'Indian youth'.  We have published a video presentation on the 'Milestones in the journey of ezine PreSense' tracing all the challenges, failures, achievements, etc.  Please watch the video presentation in the youtube link.

Along with the 75th edition of ezine, we will also be releasing the ebook of past 55 PRince cartoons and a drop-box link of all the past 75 editions of ezine.

The ezine will be released in the group after incorporating the launch event.

[India_Vision_2020] Study paper on Distinctive Profile of India 2020 invited [1 Attachment]

Last week, Mr V Ponraj, Advisor to Dr Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) addressed a group of vibrant youth belonging to 'YouThink' at Chennai.  I was also present in the meeting. During the course of interaction, many youngsters wanted to know how they can contribute to achieve the Vision 2020, to make our India a developed nation by 2020.

In response, Mr Ponraj quoted the distinctive profile of India 2020, as envisaged by Dr Abdul Kalam.  He also quoted the 10 Pillars of Developed India 2020. (attached)

Mr Ponraj requested them to go through the 10 Pillars and pick up one area (Pillar) and a make study forming a team and send a report to Dr Kalam's office. 

Since it is a very interesting study, I offered to involve the expertise of India Vision, prpoint, Action 2020, ELTF groups. It was decided to hold a seminar on this involving various groups of people, including policy makers.

Mr Ponraj has sent the document listing the 10 Pillars of developed India 2020.  He has also added a sample template for one of the Pillars (Pillar No 4 - Education).   

How to make Study paper?

1.  Interested members can form a team among themselves with one convenor.    They can chose one Pillar, out of the 10 Pillars in the attached note.  The team can do a study on various aspects like (a) present position (b) current challenges (c) improvements needed (d) action points, including the administrative and legislative actions, etc.  The team can modify to suit the needs.  Please also refer the sample template attached.

2.  After forming the team, they can inform Mr Ponraj (Dr Abdul Kalam's office) with the details of the team and the area of study (Pillar), they have undertaking.  Mr Ponraj email id is vponraj@gmail.com and vponraj@abdulkalam.com.  If needed, they can also write to Mr Ponraj for any clarification or guidance, under copy to me.

3.  The study papers may be completed before 15th July 2013 and submitted to Mr V Ponraj through mail directly, under copy to me.  

4.  It is planned to discuss this theme in a seminar, jointly organised with YouThink, inviting experts from different areas.  We will also invite political leaders to take forward some of the suggestions politically.  Since General Elections are nearing, we can also persuade some of the good suggestions to be included in the Manifestos of political parties. 

Please go through the attached document and revert back to us, after forming a team.  This is a great opportunity to participate in the nation building in a humble way.

As you have correctly pointed out, the PreSense

is changing according to the trend.  I have read

some

of the issues and it's really worth reading containing

all the latest news/info.  It kindles the interest of

the readers.  In the recent issue also you have

mentioned about SANSAD Awardees, the deserving

MPs.  Keep it up.

The Platinum Jubilee edition will be released simultaneously in Chennai and Motihari (East Champaran Dt., Bihar) on Sunday the 23rd June 2013 at 4 PM sharp by youth icons, who are involved in the nation building.  We will circulate more details in due course.  

Besides releasing the 75th edition, we will also release the past PRince cartoons in the form of ebook.  We will also release a CD containing all the 75 editions of the ezine and the cartoons. 

At Chennai, Hari Balaji and Abdul Gani (Convenors of YouThink) will release the ezine, cartoons and the CD.  At Motihari (Bihar), Munna Kumar Arya (convenor of Khwab Foundation) will release the ezine, cartoons and the CD in the presence of youth.

This is a humble gesture of this ezine towards the youth community.
