[India_Vision_2020] A quick survey on 'Çyber harassment of ladies' for the cover story of ezine PreSense April 2016 issue

In the recent days, we have been getting lot of complaints from the ladies, particularly working women and college girl students, about the cyber harassment.  We also understand that some of the efficient ladies have quit the job for fear of such harassment.  Even the ladies working in Media houses are being bullied in the cyber space.  

Suddenly, we planned to run a cover story on this important and sensitive issue,  covering the nature of such harassment, the legal positions and the actions to be taken, etc.  Before we start writing our cover story, we need the input from the society, particularly from the victim ladies and students.   Even if you are not a victim, if your friends or relatives have experienced such cyber harassment, please share the details anonymously.

New Year Greetings + An article on Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar

Today (14th April 2016) some more parts of India like Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, etc are celebrating New Year in different name.  This is the real New Year for all Indians.  Let us pray His Almighty to bring prosperity to our Nation. 

Today the Nation celebrates  Babasaheb Dr. B R Ambedkar's 126th birth Anniversary.  In my personal view, he was the most suitable leader to be the first Prime Minister of India.  In spite of all the humiliations and tortures, Dr Ambedkar, as a 'Karma Yogi' went on with his works.  He was the architect of Indian Constitution, which has withstood the test of time.  

Many people do not know that he was against Article 370, special status to Jammu and Kashmir. He refused to draft that article.  His warnings have come true.  Also, he was for Sanskrit to be made as a national Language.  However, this was not accepted by the Constituent Assembly.  He was against Aryan and Dravidian theory. Presently, many of the leaders, claiming to be the followers of Dr Ambedkar do not talk about this, for reasons best known to them.

Reserve Bank of India was set up based on the suggestions and papers of Dr Ambedkar.  When he was the Labour Minister in Viceroy Government, he brought in lot of labour reforms.   Sadly, a national hero like Dr Ambedkar is projected as a community leader. He stunned the British with his speech during the Roundtable Conference.

[India_Vision_2020] Sansad Ratna Awards 2016 - Guidelines for this year's Award

7th Edition of Sansad Ratna Awards 2016 will be held at IIT Madras on Saturday the 11th June 2016. Three Parliamentarians, (Shri Anandrao Adsul, Shri Hansraj Ahir, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal)  who were the 'Sansad Maha Ratnas' of 15th Lok Sabha are the Judges for the selection process of 16th Lok Sabha. 

Sansad Ratna Team conducted the Judges meeting at Delhi during March 2016. Guidelines were framed for this year's Award. Guidelines are available in the link.
