[India_Vision_2020] Dr Abdul Kalam suggests "Three Dimensional health care approach to youth"

Dr Abdul Kalam on 'Health care"

Next week on 15th October 2017, Nation will be celebrating the 86th birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.  As a mark of our Tribute, I would like to republish an exclusive message recorded by me on "Three Dimensional health care approach to youth".  This message was recorded on 7th October 2009.  We have heard Dr Kalam speaking about Economics, India Vision, etc.  On our specific request that he spoke about 'health care for youth', he spontaneously gave a 4 minutes message.

In this exclusive message, Dr Kalam suggests all to spare one hour daily to maintain good health.  He suggests three Dimensional approach viz. (1) Fibrous vegetarian food (2) Physical exercise, including walking for one hour and (3) Meditation for 30 minutes.  He also mentioned in this message that he used to spend one hour in walking daily, wherever he was. Till he passed away, he maintained good health and he was very active.

This podcast was published as audio in October 2009.  For better reach, I am now publishing in YouTube.

Please listen to this informative podcast.  Since this is an important health care related message, please share this podcast with your contacts.

Re: [India_Vision_2020] 127th (Sep 2017) edition of ezine PreSense: Cover Story on the quick survey results 40 months of Modi Sarkar + Review of Cabinet resuffle + Editorial on the use of Technology + Tributes to Bharat Ratna M S Subbulakshmi + many more

Cover Story I -- Achche Din is a marvellous job --- an eye-opener ---- the PMO must be made aware of this..for all the talk of Man ki Bath, PM's portal etc etc, the biggest drawback of Modi and his government is total silence in the face of public criticism ....this has been mentioned in the survey with ref to demonetisation, but applies to all spheres whether attacks on beef eaters, or any other form of fanaticism erupting from time to time or whether in respect of public policies....

Yashwant Sinha's article on the "unmitigated economic disaster" caused by Modi Govt appeared 4 days ago....Coming from a prominent figure like Yashwant Sinha, his statements needed a prompt rejoinder from the Government. Any Government keen to safeguard its credibility would have come out with a comprehensive overview of the economy constituting an authoritative rebuttal of Yashwant Sinha's charges in the form of a media statement or media meet by someone like the Chief Economic Adviser or the Finance Minister himself.

Unfortunately, in line with so many other past instances of indifference to public censure, there has so far been no reaction from the Modi Government, other than Arun Jaitley's cheap jibe at a book release function calling Sinha a "job applicant at 80", and Jayant Sinha's watery defence of the "robust new economy for a New India" without answering the specifics in his father's article.

The Government has thus needlessly allowed the likes of P.Chidambaram and the malcontents on various counts against Modi and his Government to have a field day. It must not be forgotten that Chidambaram, for all the rough patch he is going through following his son having come under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation, still enjoys high standing as a master craftsman of national Budgets. In fact, Sinha's attack on "raid raj" would have particularly pleased him.

The result is that the Government has lost a golden opportunity to make out a convincing case in defence of its performance in managing the economy. For, it is not without a defensible record. It could have easily established how Sinha's use of expressions such as "collapse", "unmitigated disaster" and the like are instances of overkill on his part and how they are inapplicable to the present situation. But it is keeping quiet....that kind of attitude is what will lose votes for the NDA....
