dear friends
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) was set up in India nearly 10 years back to regulate the telecom services. All the service providers offering (1) landline telephone (2) mobile telephone (3) broadband internet and (4) DTH/Cable TV services come under their control.
Various companies like BSNL, Airtel, Tata Indicom, Aircel, Vodofone, IDEA and many others offer these services. Consumers of these services have various grievances on these operators in areas like (1) billing, (2) tarrif, (3) quality of service and (4) service response.
Consumers Association of India (CAI) and TRAI have organised a Seminar jointly to bring the consumers and the service providers on a single platform, on 20th June 2009 at Chennai. Inorder to get the broad view of the various consumers of these telecom services, CAI, Prime Point Foundation and Corporate ezine PR-e-Sense are jointly conducting an on-line survey to get the feedback from the consumers across the Nation.
This survey is only for Indian consumers. We request you to kindly click the following link

and give your views freely and frankly. This survey will take only 5 minutes of your time. This survey is made into five parts. first part is about you and your place. Second part is about landline phone. Third part is about Mobile phone. Fourth part is about Broadband services and fifth part is about DTH/Cable TV services.
We have designed the survey in such a way that you can give your views only about one service provider in each section. If you have multiple service providers (eg: twomobile from two operators), you can give your views separately for others. It would help us to identify the views relating to each operator in a focussed manner.
This survey is open till 6 pm on Saturday the 13th June 2009. Please give your views immediatley. Please also forward this to your other friends, so that, we can get the maximum views from the consumers.
Besides presenting the outcome in the Seminar, we will also be giving the full details to TRAI for taking necessary steps to improve the operations.
Kindly spare 5 minutes and your views will help to improve the system.
