Hi all

Our former Indian President Dr Abdul Kalam visited State of Alabama (USA) during the last week of Oct 2009. During his trip, he  visited the University of Alabama and discussed with Scientists and students.  This visit was coordianted by Mr S S Rajsekar (Mg. Trustee of National Agro Foundation and son of Shri C Subramanian, Architect of Indian Green Revolution - also member of India Vision group and patron of Action 2020 team).

Even Americans got excited with Dr Kalam and his approach. William Slaughter, founder of the law firm Haskell Slaughter Young & Redike, called Mr. Kalam a "renaissance man." .  Today's edition of The Hindu has carried a detailed report about his visit.

Please watch the photographs and read the report in the following link
