Hi all,
India is at a crucial juncture and struggling in the wake of corruption and various administrative challenges. We need a statesman to lead India out of this pathetic state of affairs; someone who is not part of any Political Party and especially not from a party that has been at the helm of affairs when most of these ills set in. We need a person who has stature to hold this esteemed office and restore the lost glory.
As the head of the largest democracy in the world, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam had in his earlier stint brought dignity to this post, a dignity that was not seen since the years of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Shri Rajendra Prasad. Calling Kalam as a "Jewel of India" will not be an exaggeration. It is no wonder that millions of Indians are ready to follow him even today.
In today's context Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is the right fit for this post. An overwhelming majority of Indians feel that Dr. Abdul Kalam should become the President once again.
We have formed a movement "Kalam for President" to give a platform to the multitudes who have pledged their support for Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. In the coming days, we will be organizing daily roadshows to bring all the supporters together. We hope that this will turn into a massive groundswell support for his candidature. We are planning to have a daily meeting at Marina Beach behind Gandhi Statue starting from 19th June till 24th June. This meeting will give an opportunity for the supporters of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to gather and voice their demand for him to be the next president.
