It has been years since i wrote here. I take this opportunity to share my view on CWG scandal.
Spending of money for this event is a criminal waste. India should play against poverty. This 25K Crores would have been utilized in some other area where there would have been a proper revenue for the national government and for the people.
Basically if you ask me conducting these kinds of sports events are not a fame for a developing country like India. Its spending huge sume in vain. This common wealth scandal really put us ashame of us and put all Indians in a embarrassing position.
Moreover this country people are always standing behind cricketers, cine stars and politicians. They wont support any other sport. Honestly i love to watch cricket and movies too. But not a crazy fellow. To be frank many sportspersons shine better than Sachin unfortunately they do not come to light. Because generally media is giving importance to the fame not to the game. I agree sachin plays a good cricket but at the same time other sportstars should also be given importance.
This common wealth games must have been conducted in a place like Orrisa, Chattisgarh because there would have been a concrete improvement in those areas.Dumping Mumbai or Chennai or Bangalore or Kolkotta would have resulted the same result which happened in Delhi today.
If India must grow in another 10 years, We must throw corruption from India. Otherwise we may even get tainted Prime Minister or President one day.
