Welcome Ramadan 2020 | A Special Opportunity to Transcend the Routine
This is a message to the Islamic Community of Lancaster, PA and Muslims Worldwide, welcoming a very special Ramadan. In this message I focus on three themes: (1) How Coronavirus Pandemic is making the Ramadan of 2020 a very special opportunity to transcend the usual way in which we approached Ramadan in the past. (2) the Physical, behavioral and spiritual aspects of fasting and the importance of Quranic studies in Ramadan. (3) The four ways to enhance the spirituality of the Ramadan experience through (a) Silence (b) Seclusion (c) Hunger and (4) Vigilance. Be safe, be spiritual, be blessed, inshallah.
