NationalYouth Camp organized to orient Youth for realizing Vision India 2020. 

NationalYouth Camp was organized from 28-31 December 2009, at Vivekanandapuram,Kanyakumari by Vivekananda Kendra. The theme was "Organise for India". Thepurpose of the camp was to organize the Youth and orient them for realizingVision India 2020. In all 138 college students from Punjab, Delhi,Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Kerala and Andhra Pradeshparticipated. Jawaharlal Nehru University,Banaras HinduUniversity, PunjabUniversity, ShivajiUniversity, Avinashilingam Universitysent there students to the camp. Talks were on "Youth makes a nation", "India and theWorld" and "Future Trends". Group discussions held on "India through ideas".Also were workshop/intensives on Leadership, Excellence and Life-skills.

 

Eachparticipant made a 90 second presentation on "My India 2020"; and grouppresentations on "Our India 2020".  

 

TheCamp concluded on Vivekananda Rock Memorial with a pledge based on `Song ofYouth" by Dr. APJ Kalam.
