Dear Srinivasan, Even before seeing the Podcast, I wish to concur with the views of our friend from Australia. My eldest son stays at Melbourne and he has also expressed the same opinion a few months back when we contacted him for more information. It is a reality that our Indian Students especially of recent migration have displayed disrespect to the Australian Culture and peace. This includes playing loud music from their mobile phones while travelling. Drinking and entering into loud arguments and amusements in the streets. Australians being peace loving ones have not been in a position to digest this attitude of the students who have come to learn at their Universities. According to information, racial feelings are exaggerated publicity hypes. Australian culture is very systematic one wherein there is only an initial effort in anything; there is no recommendation; there is no follow up and there is no favouritism or discrimination, as we face sometimes, here. End to end solutions are available within a reasonable time, which is also transparent. This approach and system is not palatable to a few migrants from India, who have never seen systems or transparency. Isolated incidents do not display the sentiments of the entire population. However, we should take steps not only to protect our students, but also make the students behave well. Whether any one would behave differently, when he goes to the Gulf or Singapore Malaysia? In case you need first hand information, please mail satya1982@mailcity. regards, NC Mangalore "BEHIND EVERY WORK THERE IS A HUMAN ELEMENT""LENS" --- On Sat, 5/9/09, Prime Point Srinivasan <prpoint@gmail.
