[India_Vision_2020] Interest subsidy scheme under Education Loan for weaker section

 

Hi all

Interest subsidy is offered by the Government of India for the education loan availed by poor students (whose annual income does not exceed 4.5 lakhs).  Indian Government will subsidies the interest during the moratorium period (during the study period plus one year of six months after getting job, which is earlier).  The interest subsidy is applicable from the academic year 2009-10 only. 

This interest subsidy is available for the courses approved  by the Government.  For more details, please visit our Education Loan Task Force site
