As already circulated, the Golden Jubilee Edition of the ezine was launched in a function on 1st May 2010 and Dr Abdul Kalam also addressed the audience over phone from Delhi. While releasing the 50th edition and also the CD containing the past issues of ezine and podcasts, both Mr T S Krishnamurthy and Mr N Gopalaswamy (former chief election commissioners of India) quoted this ezine and podcast for the effective use of technology in communication.
In my welcome address, I traced the journey of this ezine from the earlier avatar of newsletter till its Golden Jubilee edition. This is an experiment from 2002. I also explained how we synchronised the social media with the contemporary technology to make it successful.
The script 'Journey of the ezine' is attached herewith. I am confident that it will be a good reading for the members, on effective use of technology for communication. You may also watch the attached video for the audio version.
