Most of the time we citizens pay bribe to the officers , but recently
in one case , officer paid bribe to a citizen .
One citizen Ram Prasad in Delhi applied for some information under RTI
Act . Officer did not reply within mandatory 30 days . Then Ram Prasad
complained to Information Commissioner about delay . Commissioner
started proceedings against that officer . After few days Ram Prasad
wanted to withdraw his complaint . On enquiry it was found that the
officer bribed Ram Prasad to withdraw the complaint .
So use RTI ACT now . Prove you are an alert citizen of India !
