RE: [India_Vision_2020] Does the Govt. want to put restrictions on Dr Kalam's visit abroad?

Dear friends,

I have been reading these comments with interest. I very much agree that it is shame for our Govt. and politicians/bureacrats in power even to think for placing such restrictions but having said that why should Dr. Kalam accept or need to follow such restrictions. He is also a free man with fundamental rights as a citizen of India. Do you or me need security or ask for security or get any security at all. Rather than security, may be his popularity is making them jealous to impose such restrictions in the name of security as an excuse.

I do not think (with due regards and respects to Dr. Abdul Kalam) that he needs any such security in first place and he should walk any where in India or the World as a free man )and share his vision and knowledge for the betterment of the society as a whole esp. our children and youth as he does all the time) rather than being imprisoned by these security people. I am sure he certainly will wish to do so and should do so like any other free citizen of India. I don't think Mahatma Gandhi ever accepted such restrictions even when others wanted to impose for some or other excuse.

Hi all

Its really embarrassing for any 1st citizen of India like Dr. Kalam. I
agree with all. Is our country supposed to treat Kasab like a guest
& Mr Kalam is ...... ?
