Q1. What Would be your advice to the future generation of India to develop a more peaceful, secular and prosperous nation?
Ans. Have an aim. Acquire knowledge as much as possible from good books, good human beings, good teachers and good internet sites. Work hard and persevere. Everyone should have an principle "work with integrity and succeed with integrity". The third characteristics must be individual and organizations must consider that "the nation is bigger than individual or organizations".

Q2. Our country is economically poor. There are villages where there is no light. No Power with all these do you think, India should ever go in for the Nuclear deal?
Ans. This is a very reason, we should go for the nuclear deal. By 2030, we have to increase our generating capacity to 400,000 MW of electric power, out of which 50,000 MW is expected to come from nuclear power.

Q3 What difference you find in your life as a scientist and when you become the President of India?
Ans. As a scientists, I worked for generating India Vision 2020 with a team of 500 scientists. As a President of India, I had the opportunity to market the thought of India Vision 2020 among all stake holders namely, Parliament, Legislature, Administrators, Teachers, Youth and the Citizens of India.

Ans. This happened when I went to the Air Force interview and I was the ninth candidate where eight people were selected. Later when I came to Delhi, an offer from DTP&A was awaiting.

Q6. In Science Education Should there be focus on Exam oriented Education or Creative Development?
Ans. Science teaching has to be through creative development. Exams have to be conducted to know whether the students has understood the concepts or not. They have to under stand to apply the knowledge, that is where creativity comes in.
