Re: [India_Vision_2020] Obeying traffic regulations

Hi all
I felt it's high time we got this issue.I would share an experience of mine .I was in middle of junction (I mean literally, exactly in the centre sitting inside an auto) caught in a traffic jam where people from all sides wanted to go .But they ended up facing each other. I beleive the police constable has gone for break(that's different argument why was this absence). But it was perfect mess when he came back.Everybody wanted to go and can't wait a single second. what would be problem ? some thought got to my mind are the following few .

1.Does this say our attitude of blaming others ? i.e He did it i am doing it
2.Does this say a bigger context of our society of have it all for me ?
3.Is this is a general nature of human being(survival of the fittest) which can only be changed by rules and laws?
4.Does the education of india has failed to make the righteous citizen ?

I found most of the people looked learnt to my shock.

ps: This is the first time i am writing to a group. If u feel offended about any of the above .please do write me. I would definetely correct my self.

Hi All,

Bangalore has a lot of educated people and I also find that a lot of
educated people violate traffic signals and rules. I am not aware of
traffic signal and rule violation in other cities.

Society is not a special group of people constituted. Let us
understand that everyone is a part of the society. Let us all be
responsible citizens of India.

Let us all obey traffic signal and rules and ensure smooth flow of
traffic.

How many times you have noticed vehicles violating red signal(s)? How
many times you have noticed in a signal that a vehicle which has to
make a right turn, go to the left side of the road and then take a
right turn causing hardship to the vehicle which are going in other
straight or left side?

Let us obey traffic rules.

Kannappan Krishnan.
