[India_Vision_2020] A success story from Suyam Charitable Trust, Chennai

Hope all you know that we run a free school for street children and begging children. Siragu Montessori School aims at top quality education to the poorest of the poor at local cost.

Hindi language introduced to children from II grade, which is the part of curriculum. Apart from that 1st batch of Siragu children recently appeared for Prathmic exam conducted by Hindi Prachar Sabha, T.Nagar, Chennai. 22 children appeared for the exam studying in 5th to 8th grade on 15th Feb. Out of 22 children, 3 got distinction, 5 got first class and 14 got second class.

Underprivileged children were motivated through main stream education and they yielding the success fruits.

Siragu also motivates the children to excel in extra curricular activities. 5 students participated and won medals n certificates in the 5th State level competition, Karate Championship 2009, organized by Rising Kunpo Karate Kung – fu and Yoga.
