Re: [India_Vision_2020] Corruption at high places - Regional passport officer arrested at Chennai

Dear Mr.Kris Dev,

I totally agree with your point,

We desperately need "Public Vigilance Bodies consisting of eminent citizens"
and we should incorporate our IT intelligence and should be made online, accessible to everyone at anytime.

So that all the people can be cautioned towards the corrupt situations going on everyday and everywhere around us, Lodge complaints, submit proofs, discuss their grievances etc.etc.....

Its high time to get changed and bring the change.............

And the normal people - "The common Man" has more responsibility in this change, we can't blame and offend ...the corrupt officers and corrupt politicians always for this. Its the common man, we should be aware that the "Rs.5" we pay for the office boy to get an application without standing in queue is beginning stage of corruption/bribe.

First we should follow then expect others to follow. its my humble opinion.

Regards
Sridhar

The heroic efforts of Mr. Laxmanan, a common man, in exposing the corrupt practices going on in the Regional Passport Office, Chennai at the behest of the Regional Passport Officer and her husband and the efforts of CBI in nabbing them, deserves public praise.

We need more Laxmanans in our society to be vigilant, to protect the rights of the common man and our democracy.

The number of crorepatis are ever increasing. It is obviously at the cost of the common man who is squeezed from all sides. Corruption has become the order of the day. This case is a pointer to it and may be just the tip of the iceberg. It is high time, Public Vigilance Bodies consisting of eminent citizens who can be accessed by any one any time are formed, to curb corruption.

Introduction of Multi Purpose Biometric Smart Card linked to a Bank Account as a Debit Card to track all transactions, may be the best solution in a vast country like India, as it would help to curb corruption and curtail the huge overheads associated with monitoring of corruption.
