Re: [India_Vision_2020] a little dream - docu film on Dr.Kalam

Dear Rishi

Thanks for your interest.

If we can reach some retail chain, it will be good.

But there are some practical difficulties. For example, we tried to display this DVD in Land Mark, Chennai. They are not accepting this product because we have only one product. They are looking for the supplier who should have at least 20 products. They advised us to go to some distributor. When we approach Distributor they ask us for exclusive distribution rights and unreasonable product discount. Also a distributor will not give attention to a single product. Though we have great content with us, this is the reality. Only big companies can reach out the market effectively.

But we can overcome this challenge by

1. Reaching this information to the masses effectively.
2. Creating some committed partners in retail network who inspired by seeing this product..

Two companies have come forward to support this idea.

1. 'Professional Couriers' has agreed to be our Logistics Partner. Now our DVDs are available in all Profesional Courier offices across Tamil Nadu. If any one is interested in getting a DVD, they can simply call this phone no. 044 - 42135901, 42135902. We'll arrange delivery through 'Professional Couriers'. Or Interested people can walk in any Professional Courier offices and collect the DVD. 'Professional Couriers' is trying this model in Tamil Nadu. If successful, they will extend this to other states also.

2. 'Ramraj Cotton' has agreed to advertise our product in TV media with their co-branding.

It is very crucial to reach out owners of retail chain than business managers. The owner will understand the cause and importance of the content.

Thank you
Regards
Dhanapal

Dear Sir,

I think if we can talk to book-store chains like Crossword for the same, then oit can work. also, in every city there are some very popular book stores; also various options like reliance retail etc.

at personal level i would like to buy one for myself!
will try to see if there is a BIGGER order possible.
some times, big organisation would like to buy these and gift one each to their employees.

Regards,

Rishi
