Re: [India_Vision_2020] What is the difference between Pak sponsored terrorists and Oil company/ Lorry operators terrorism?

Dear friends,

Who has done a great job for the country is something that cannot be claimed as the exclusive privilege of one set of persons alone. To say that Oil company executives did a magnificent job is not correct. In every sphere of human activity it is the combined effort of every individual of this society that matters. While I mean no disrespect to any individual in this campaign, we must compare ourselves with the human body. There is humorous story. I hope no one will feel offended; My illustration is not be misunderstood

Once there was an argument between the various parts of the human body. The head claimed that the brain is the fulcrum of all activity etc. Similarly, each part, eyes, ears, mouth, heart, stomach etc claimed that the body cannot function without each of them.. At the of end of each part's claim, the anus said, if it stopped working everything will come to a standstill. All other parts laughed and pooh, poohed the claim. The exit point closed itself and stopped functioning. Nobody noticed anything for a day or even two. Then slowly no human part could function effectively efficiently. The whole body was getting poisoned and about to collapse. It was then that the all other parts of the human body surrendered before the exit point and unanimously agreed that the claim of the last end of the system is the BOSS.

It is like that if we argue which sector of the Indian economy is more important and therefore all their requests should be met..

Let us remember that every segment of the society is important. We should all work together. When one part of the society closes down all others get clogged and poisoned. In a democracy, there are several ways to find solutions to problems.

We must also recognise the fact that people in general in the country are getting to be impatient. They rush; they yell; they condemn any interference in the day-today life. So, and for other reasons, people of this country have lost any sympathy for strikers. They are condemned. A good leader of workers or executives have to look at other possible avenues to demand for redressal. Strikes won't help any more.

I do not want anyone to think that my illustration is meant to ridicule or hurt anyone. NOT AT ALL.

(Moderator's Note : Thanks for the clarification by Kailash Kanth (given below). Any amount of great job done earlier, gets nullified by a stroke of one wrong anti-people activity. Particularly when the country is facing lot of problems, one section of the society, putting the country into shambles is highly unpardonable. Look at Satyam. They claim to have done great things in the past. Over night, they fell down.

Now times are changing. PSU Officers should understand that they lost public sympathy, as it is evident now. When Jayalalitha dismissed two lakh employees, even Supreme Court upheld the orders. At that time, I know, how the people rejoiced for having arrested the striking Govt. employees. The same thing could have happened, even if the Oil company officers / transport owners are arrested and put behind the bars.

All striking people should understand National interest should be uppermost in their mind than their individual interest. Times are changing. Any amount of justification for dislocating the entire country, particularly, poor class will not be tolerated by the people. I am yet to understand how these striking people enjoy, by putting the poor and innocent into trouble.

Ultimately, they have lost the public sympathy. Knowingly or unknowingly, they have played into the hands of anti-Indian forces to destroy Indian economy. Nothing wrong in calling those people, who are putting the entire country in shamble as 'Terrorists'. There is a doubt in the minds of many, whether the leaders who are behind the strike are being funded by Anti-Indian forces to destroy the Indian Economy. That needs to be investigated deeply. They need to be dealt with iron hand.

Message from Kailash Kanth

Oil company officers are no less than armed forces of the country , They stood with the army and Airforce day & night during the Kargil and some of them have sacrificed their lives for the country. No sensible person will go on strike if his grievances are heard on time, actually this strike was planned during last week of november 2008.As a responsible citizen of the country it was decided to defer the strike in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks. Pl think well before your pass your comments.
