(Moderator's Note : Thanks for the clarification by Kailash Kanth (given below). Any amount of great job done earlier, gets nullified by a stroke of one wrong anti-people activity. Particularly when the country is facing lot of problems, one section of the society, putting the country into shambles is highly unpardonable. Look at Satyam. They claim to have done great things in the past. Over night, they fell down.
Now times are changing. PSU Officers should understand that they lost public sympathy, as it is evident now. When Jayalalitha dismissed two lakh employees, even Supreme Court upheld the orders. At that time, I know, how the people rejoiced for having arrested the striking Govt. employees. The same thing could have happened, even if the Oil company officers / transport owners are arrested and put behind the bars.
All striking people should understand National interest should be uppermost in their mind than their individual interest. Times are changing. Any amount of justification for dislocating the entire country, particularly, poor class will not be tolerated by the people. I am yet to understand how these striking people enjoy, by putting the poor and innocent into trouble.
Ultimately, they have lost the public sympathy. Knowingly or unknowingly, they have played into the hands of anti-Indian forces to destroy Indian economy. Nothing wrong in calling those people, who are putting the entire country in shamble as 'Terrorists'. There is a doubt in the minds of many, whether the leaders who are behind the strike are being funded by Anti-Indian forces to destroy the Indian Economy. That needs to be investigated deeply. They need to be dealt with iron hand.

Oil company officers are no less than armed forces of the country , They stood with the army and Airforce day & night during the Kargil and some of them have sacrificed their lives for the country. No sensible person will go on strike if his grievances are heard on time, actually this strike was planned during last week of november 2008.As a responsible citizen of the country it was decided to defer the strike in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks. Pl think well before your pass your comments.
