Dear Friends, Adding my voice to the many mourning the Mumbai carnage. The brave soldiers and security men who braved the most terrible odds to defeat the terrorists deserve the highest respect and accolades.They also deserve fair pay and service conditions at par with others in Governemnt service. Sadly, the recent VIth Pay Commission gave the defense forces a comparativly raw deal vis a vis government babus. Since many of us here are connected with the media and public life, I hope we can add our voices for a fairer pay package for our brave defenders..
