Re: [India_Vision_2020] Re: Anti Child Begging Campaign

Dear Friends,

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words. Just a small note on the message to be passed - Through this campaign we would like to create awareness about the steps Pune Municipal Corporation [ PMC ] has taken along with a few NGO's for street children. PMC has set up 5 residential schools in the city by allocating 200 crores to 5 NGO's. I happened to visit one at Yervada when I was in Pune. The children are being treated very well in these schools. We would give the complete address and contact details of these schools in our campaign.

Not many people know about such schools and hence we thought of taking the message to public. In case if someone really wants to help the children, they would know that there is a place for these children.

If we are to replicate the same kind of campaign in other cities, we would first need to study details like homes run for such children and steps taken by government for such children. Once we have these details, we can certainly be a tool for bringing in the change.

Hi,  It is a Very Good Idea.
It is right -initial - step. All must realise and execute it immediately.
But it must executed in caution.
We should not stop with this "mass level Anti Child Begging Campaign"  alone.
If it is not followed by our continous action to place them in right position we will be doing injustice to the needy if one really begs for his food and survival. Its every  one's  duty to provide them better means. All initiatives must be taken to counsell  them and place them comfortably in good child care centres or orphages.
We, (myself and our AUM Education Seva Trust) are already  on the job and are agree with you and expect you to follow our caution carefully along with the campaign  to do our best.
with regards

I except the same. The children's day should be celebrated as per the wish of Pandit Jawarlal Nehru as he is the main celebrative.

It is a novel idea to celebrate Childrens day. Political parties can donate funds by minimising thier expenses honouring Pandi Nehru on this occasion.
I am sure this program will be taken up in all centers.
On my part I will back up your efforts.
