Re: [India_Vision_2020] BCCI & IPL is boycotting Indian General Election!

Please allow me to add couple of points/clarifications…

All Indian government decisions are Indian constitutional decision. All Indian constitutional decisions are taken by politicians only. If one has an issue with such decision, they can move to the court that is the way any country system works.

Please understand that UPA & non-UPA is India's internal issue and the world doesn't understand that. What the world has understood from BCCI's statement is "(1) The attitude of Indian government is not good. (2) India is not capable of giving security to IPL matches". Such immature wordings from a reputed sports organization are never acceptable.

Approaching this issue as a blind cricket fan doesn't help, as for those their eyes are closed, to the extend that they could not distinguish between IPL going abroad and individuals going abroad. But it is very basic that one should not betray own country for financial benefits, unfortunately BCCI/IPL did that.

I wish such "Boycott-IPL" mentality would give clear message to everyone that India and Indian unity is at the top.

The constitution did not decide that they will not give permission for the IPL.
Politicians decided so!
So there was no criticism of the constitution only a set of political decisions!

I hope you did not miss the clear dichotomy between UPA and Non-UPA ruled states.

It's the corrupt politicians and beauracrats who have sold out the country...
Hope you know that customs officials helped smuggle bombs into Mumbai for the 1993 attack!

If the IPL had taken place here and there had been a terrorist attack, politicians and people would've said lives were lost for the sake of money and blamed the IPL..

About 100 people would be outside the country for participating in the IPL.
Do you have any idea how many people travel out on business during the elections? Are you gonna boycott all those companies too? Just take the software industry I'm sure 1000s are stationed in the US alone...

Unfortunately for you, you will be part of a miniscule minority.
The IPL will go on... It'll definitely be bigger (the broadcaster is paying double this year almost 8000 crore for 9 years) and better too!

National Spirit is the basis of Indian Cricket.
That is how … BCCI reached such fame.

BCCI stands on Indian National Spirit.
IPL stands on Indian National Spirit.

By criticizing Indian constitutional decision,
BCCI betrayed India to the rest of the world.

IPL can move to anywhere in the world, no one cares.
But, how can BCCI criticize Indian constitutional decision?

For money, how can one betray own country?
Is this the attitude of BCCI ?
Is this the attitude of IPL ?

When General Election happens in India,
BCCI is going to abroad with all cricketers.

Any cricketer who is participating this year (abroad) IPL is
actually boycotting Indian General Election.

IPL is boycotting Indian General Election!!!
BCCI is boycotting Indian General Election!!!

Let us (being a true Indian) boycott IPL.

"Yes… Boycott-IPL"
